Spring water flushing scheduled for April 29 to May 24, 2024

The Town of St. Marys will be performing spring water main and hydrant flushing from April 29 to May 24, 2024.

Flushing Schedule
  • April 29 to May 3, 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., area west of the Thames River
  • May 5, 6:00 p.m. to 12:00 a.m., Queen Street East (downtown core)
  • May 6 to 10, 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., area south of Trout Creek from the Thames River to James Street, including James Street South
  • May 13 to 17, 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., area south of Trout Creek and east of James Street

St. Marys Fire Department receives substantial donation to purchase much needed equipment.

The St. Marys Volunteer Fire Department has received a substantial donation from a local couple to purchase much needed equipment. Thanks to this donation they will be able to purchase two unique items to benefit the department operationally and use for public education.

Ron and Pat Wouters contacted the St. Marys Fire Department, wanting to donate to the volunteer firefighters to help them obtain equipment they might require.

The Town of St. Marys is encouraging residents to recognize those who give back through its Strong as Stone program.

With some warm weather here, the St. Marys Fire Department is reminding residents about obtaining an Open-Air Burn Permit before having a backyard campfire.
